Terms and Conditions for PLDT Wireline service
Telephone service shall be provided by Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (hereinafter refered to as "PLDT" in accordance with the terms and conditions of this agreement and subject to the applicable Rules and Regulations governing the entire telephone service of PLDT as approved by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) in Case No. 69-7614, dated June 22, 1970.

PAYMENTS: The subscriber is liable to pay all tolls and charges incurred in connection with this service.

SUPERSEDURE: The incoming subscriber shall assume the outstanding indebtedness of the outgoing subscriber in connection with this service.

DISCONNECTION: PLDT shall discontinue telephone service due to non-payment of overdue accounts. PLDT reserves the right to automatically bar access to toll services for non payment of the allowable toll charges without prejudice to the exercise of other remedies under existing law, rules and regulations.

PLDT shall refuse telephone service to any subscriber or premises, or discontinue service if it determines that the subscriber is not actually taking service at the place of installation or when necessary to protect itself against abuse or fraud.

PLDT shall discontinue telephone service if a subscriber fails to comply with any of the terms and conditions herein.

SUBSCRIBER’S DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : The subscriber shall disallow the connection, disconnection, movement, and/or alteration of any and all instruments or facilities furnished by PLDT, by parties other than duly authorized PLDT personnel.

The subscriber shall permit duly authorized PLDT personnel to enter or leave the subscriber's premises at all reasonable hours or at such frequency for the purpose of installing, inspecting, maintaining and/or removing its instruments and facilities in connection with the telephone service.

The subscriber shall be liable for any loss or damage on the equipment upon the completion of the installation by PLDT unless such loss or damages is due to causes beyond his/her control.
